Ever since I was a kid, I drew comics. But this is the first time I’m going to finish one.

Pages 1 through 16 are now on display at the Walkerton Branch Library, and the rest of the story will be published in the new year.

The story is allegorical, about a guy following an old rail trail and being swept into a high-speed quest to fix a shaky train. It covers a lot of philosophical ground, as it is autobiographical, and I like philosophy. Strange characters enter the mix, from Starhawk to Pope Benedict XVI.

Enjoy! Hours for the library:

Tues and Thurs 12-8

Wed, Fri and Sat 10-5
