Repairing an old photo album

Recently we had the opportunity to work on an old family photo album. Here are some photos documenting the process.

When the pages are all bound together, I consider the cover. The inner paper hinge will be replaced with cloth. The wood shavings acting as padding are tidied, as well as the old cloth.
